Johanna Howlett, 87, of Poughkeepsie, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at home. She was born on July 26, 1931, in Conception Harbour, Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of Frederick Gushue and Julia Williams. On June 15, 1957, she was married to Nicholas Howlett in Brooklyn, who survives at home. Mrs. Howlett was employed at Diane Sofka Real Estate in Poughkeepsie. She enjoyed her family, and playing cards. Surviving are her children, Judyann Westbrook (Mark) of Houston, TX., Jerry Howlett (Joan) of Milan, Christopher Howlett and fiance Jackie Woodward of Hopewell Junction, Christine Vaccaro (Joseph) of Hyde Park, 9 grandchildren, 1 Greatgrandchild. Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Monday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial Will be offered Tuesday at 10:00 Am at St. Martin dePorres Church, Cedar Valley Rd., Poughkeepsie. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
