My Dearest Cathy,
I picked up a copy of The Hornet paper (which I NEVER do) at Meadowbrook Farm today. I was shocked to see that your dear husband passed away in April. I do not get the Pok. Journal, as I detest the paper, so I didn't know about your loss. I want to extend my deepest condolences you, your children and grandchildren. I actually broke down in tears when I read the article, as my own husband died almost 9 years ago, after only 45 years of marriage. My heart goes out to you. Take good care of yourself and may God's grace comfort you. I would love to take you to lunch whenever you feel up to it. My home phone no. is 845-765-0360. Love you, Cathy.

On behalf of my father, Henry (Hank) Ricci, we send our sincere condolences to your family. My dad often talked about how much he enjoyed working with Don when they were employed in the Wappingers Central School district, and how pleased my dad was that he could help Don by taking him to New York City for some business many years ago. My dad helping someone whenever he could, and thinking nothing of it, was a simple example of the generous man he was. It seems it was a long time ago, but it was not all that long ago when we would occasionally see you at the 84 Diner. Again, we are so sorry for your loss. (posted by Henry Jr.)
